For your convenience, we supply UPS labels when sending cases to our laboratory. They are pre-printed with our address, phone number, and default weight. However, we need your cooperation to ensure on-time delivery.
How to Affix Label
- Please remove the two top perforated sleeves and affix the sticky part only. Please keep one sleeve for your records. I suggest writing down the patient’s name on your copy.
- Write the address in the “Shipping From” section. If you have your address stamp or sticker, it will do the job.
If the box is too small for the entire sticker, please be sure the barcode section is flatly affixed.
Remove Old Labels
In the case you are re-using the old box, please be sure that no other previously used shipping labels (UPS, FedEx, or US Postal) are visible by blacking out, removing, or covering them with the new label. No other labels should be visible on all sides of the box except our label.
The bottom line is that UPS doesn’t care about anything other than the barcode. A driver handles hundreds of packages daily, and they will not pay attention to one particular. Even though we know ours is the most important package in the truck, they just scan the barcode and drive away. If they can scan the barcode, it gets delayed until who knows when.
Email Us the Tracking Number
If your time permits, please send us the tracking number with the patient’s name. It enables us to track every morning and be sure to arrive on time. A small effort on our part will ultimately pay off.
Reminder
As a friendly reminder, please combine cases instead of sending one per box unless you have only one case. It’s the only way we can afford to offer you free shipping.
